1. CompuCraft’s managed services
CompuCraft is based in Grand Rapids, and they strive to provide and manage your technology solutions through education, implementation, and partnership.
CompuCraft is platform-agnostic, which means they’ll match and support the technology to your specific situation instead of making you match technology.
If you opt for their managed IT services, they’ll provide on-site installation, off-site equipment repairs, system monitoring, reporting, consulting, remote support, proactive support, and maintenance.
They’ll also help you make informed technology decisions as well as equipment procurement and configuration of most commercially available technologies.
In addition to providing managed services for small businesses, they help larger enterprises augment their in-house IT capabilities.
2. Next IT’s managed IT services
They deliver industry-specific technology solutions that are secure, scalable, and reliable. They focus on technology solutions that make sense for individuals.
They claim to be “large enough to maintain close relationships and purchasing leverage with all major suppliers, yet not so big that we forget how important your business is to our business.”
Their managed services are branded as “NextCare,” which gives you access to their help desk and network operations center (NOC) and their teams of centralized services, support, virtual business technology, professional services, and network administration.
3. NuWave Technology Partners’ managed IT services
NuWave Technology Partners provides managed IT services and security and technology solutions from full operational offices in Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and Lansing, as well as local support in Jackson, Traverse City, and St. Joseph.
NuWave Technology Partners offers relationship-centered, augmented and managed IT services. They customize both solutions to meet your specific needs and keep your daily operations running.
Their goal is “to have the technology that powers your business work so well that you don’t think about using the technology.”
NuWave has six priorities when they take over your IT environment: planning and budgeting, healthy infrastructure, IT quality, risk management, security, and operational effectiveness and efficiency.
4. Red Five’s managed services
Red Five offers managed IT services out of Grand Haven, Michigan, as well as other technology services, such as managed computer repair, network and email security, cloud consulting, backup and disaster recovery, and help desk services.
In the managed services sector, they offer two plans:
1. Block time service
What this means is they charge you for a block of service hours and then you apply those hours to whatever assistance you need.
You can purchase blocks of time as low as 25 hours – used for audits, new installations, troubleshooting and repair, migration, training and general consultations.
These blocks of time can be set up for scheduled repairs, updates, and general maintenance.
2. Monthly service contracts
For customers who need more IT insurance than block time service offers, Red5 also offers traditional managed services contracts.
With this option, they’ll work with you to craft an agreement that meets your needs for scheduled maintenance, help desk support and/or remote monitoring.
5. Rehmann’s, formerly Trivalent, managed IT services
Rehmann is the new name for Trivalent Group after the accounting firm Rehmann acquired the Grandville-based IT company in the spring of 2018.
Under Rehmann’s technology offerings are managed services. If you choose them, they will provide “reliability and peace of mind for one straightforward monthly fee.”
Rehmann’s managed IT services come in three tiers:
1. Essentials (Foundations)
With this level of Rehmann’s managed services, they’ll continually monitor your critical systems and software and immediately notify you of issues. You only pay for the help desk support you need.
2. Enhanced (Framework Base)
For a monthly fee, you can receive safety, security, and peace of mind with Rehmann’s middle tier of managed IT services. It comes with always-on protection for your servers, data, and software – including automatic updates and problem resolution.
You also have access to support from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday.
3. Enhanced (Framework Enterprise)
Rehmann’s top tier of managed services offers all the benefits of Framework Base but extends support from 12 hours during the weekday to 24/7 support.
6. Worksighted’s managed IT services
Worksighted has two Michigan locations in Holland and Novi.
From both offices, they provide IT solutions, including managed services for companies with 25 to 250 PC users.
Their services include responsive support, enhanced security protection, proactive system monitoring, and strategic IT planning.
Worksighted customizes their services and offers three different IT support packages to meet your needs:
This offers proactive security and monitoring and includes a technical account manager, vendor management, and onboarding costs.
Remote and on-site IT support is billed hourly, and documentation using IT Glue and extended hours support are available as add-ons for additional charges.
2. Criterion Remote
This package provides all the services of LiveView but it includes remote IT support, PC installation, Desk Director Support Portal, and IT Glue documentation.
3. Criterion Full
Worksighted’s high-tier package provides full network management and support with all the services of the criterion remote package. However, your charge covers travel and onsite visits and support.
