Matthew Keeler has been in the technology field for over 10 years. After attending Spring Arbor University to earn his B.A. in Information Systems, Matt landed in the healthcare industry where he worked for several years prior to his move to New York City in 2005. During his time in the Big Apple, Matt became intimately familiar with Managed Services technologies for a multi-billion dollar hedge fund company. Matt and his wife moved back to Michigan and currently reside in Grand Haven. Matt holds certifications in Cisco, Liebert, VMware and Citrix. Matt and his family enjoy the lakeshore and look forward to spending days at the beach.
Chief Innovation Officer
Phil Rienstra has practiced technology consulting for more than 15 years. A strong background in business and IT consulting makes Phil one of the premier consultants in West Michigan. Phil holds Microsoft, Cisco, VMware and Liebert certifications and focuses the majority of his time working with datacenter and collaboration technologies. Originally from Northwest Indiana, Phil moved to Grand Rapids to attend Calvin College.
Chief Technology Officer
Braden has been in the technology field for over twelve years. He spent the early part of his career working as the network admin at a community hospital, and transitioned from there to the world of consulting. His consulting focus includes project engineering and management, with an emphasis in the voice and collaboration spaces. Braden holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Calvin College, as well as several certifications from Cisco and Microsoft. He lives with his family in Grand Rapids where they are active participants in the community.
Network Operations Center Manager
Dan Lapinski has been in the technology field for over 10 years. After attending the University of Michigan, he received a B.A. in Economics and is currently attending Texas A&M to receive a MBA degree. Dan has past experience as an IT Director in higher education in Houston, Texas. With the experience Dan has had over the years, he is now our Service and Project Manager. He loves everything that has to do with cars and sailing. He also lived in the British Virgin Islands for three years where he gained social and cultural perspective working in another country.
Data Center Practice Manager
Bob has 15 years of experience in the technology field. He has been consulting for the entirety of his career. He began working with small-business as he paid his way through college – mostly commercial and dental offices – focusing on Microsoft servers and desktops, migrations, and specialized applications. Later he moved into larger enterprises, taking on virtualization, routing and switching, higher-end server platforms, and enterprise storage. He holds ICCP (Information Systems Analyst), Cisco (CCNA & DCUFI), VMware (VCP5 Datacenter & VCP5 Desktop), and Microsoft (MCP) certifications. Bob graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Information Systems. Bob and his family have taken an interest in exploring northern Michigan at every opportunity; he’s become an avid snowboarder, and a student of Christian theology.
Business Development Manager
Kris has provided VAR business development, channel, and client management services for the past 12 years. Kris earned an MBA in Strategic Management from Davenport University, which she leveraged to support process, program, and sales efficiencies. As a former U.S. Coast Guard Chief, Kris is a people person, “always ready” (Semper Paratus) to talk through and solve business technology issues while building trusted partner relationships. Kris is also currently developing sales talent via the KRG Sales Bootcamp Program.
Marketing Operations Manager
Maggie was introduced to The KR Group nearly 4 years ago as a college senior at Grand Valley State University. Since graduating in 2014 with her degree in Advertising and Public Relations, Maggie has gone from intern to Marketing Operations Manager, growing the KRG brand through strategic marketing campaigns and managing all internal sales support items. As a West Michigan native, Maggie enjoys exploring Michigan with her husband Tom on their motorcycle, and spending time participating in or watching local theatre.
